Spirometry (Screening) and Medical Planning for business clients
OSHA requires medical evaluation plans to be put into place where
employees are at risk for inhalants such as dust, chemicals, and fumes.
This plan is specific and must be provided by the safety coordinator.
Neumed Diagnostics can assist you in development and implementation
of a plan to meet or exceed OSHA requirements.
We provide a registered nurse with occupational health experience
to evaluate your needs, prepare a plan, and assist you in its
documentation and implementation.
Neumed Diagnostics has contacts with occupational health care facilities
and other mobile testing companies that can provide other testing such
as mobile radiologic evaluation, hearing testing, and physician medical
evaluation.
Neumed Diagnostics is capable of providing screening anywhere in the
United States and can provide staff to expedite the screening process as
rapidly as possible to as many clients as needed.
Neumed Diagnostics can provide small or large scale pulmonary function
screening of industrial clients. We can perform pulmonary function
testing on site and can screen as many as 60 clients per hour and over a
24 hour period for as many days as needed to complete all testing.
Screening is required by OSHA to provide evidence that a company
utilizing full or partial face masks have provided medical clearance for
their employees.
Neumed Diagnostics provides data sufficient to meet any OSHA
requirements. The data meets NIOSH and ATS standards. Our technicians
are experienced and have documented competence. We provide
interpretations by a Board Certified Pulmonologist (if required). All
equipment meets the necessary requirements for industrial screening. We
also provide a questionaire that meets OSHA standards to evaluate the
cardiopulmonary system. This questionaire is reviewed by a trained health
care professional who will make recommendations to have the client
further tested or evaluated by a physician if needed.
